We spent the past 4 days in Island Park, Idaho with Jeramy's family. Where is Island Park, you might be wondering? Well, it's 5 hours away from here, and about an hour away from Yellowstone. This was the farthest the Wakewii family has even driven in one day. We stopped in Pocatello for lunch for a much needed break.
We had an amazing time! We stayed in a wonderful cabin that was nicer than my house...seriously. Granite counter tops, hot tub, Foosball table, central vac, etc.
Jeramy and I were lucky enough not to have new babies, so we got the big bedroom that had a queen sized bed and 2 bunk beds. We got this room because we didn't have a baby that would wake up all of the older kids. Nothing beats sharing a room with 7 little kids, 6 of which are giggly little girls. The girls loved sleeping with their cousins.
There was a cute little stream right by the cabin and the girls spent hours playing on the bridge and sticking their feet in. I spent a lot of time just sitting outside listening to the creek. I love love love being outside in the mountains!
