Tuacahn

Jeramy and I have been married for (almost) 15 years.  We have not left our kids overnight since we just had Maddie.  We always take our kids everywhere.  I finally decided it was time to take a little trip without them.  Grandma Mary and Grandpa Kim were kind enough to watch them while we went to St George for a few days.

Why have we never done this before?
It was so nice to just be "us."  The drive was actually fun and not stressful with kids fighting and yelling and listening to movie after movie.  We actually turned off the radio and...talked.  Wow.  That never happens with kids.
We stayed in a ghetto hotel that we will never stay in again, but the waffles made up for it in the morning - according to Jeramy.
We went to Tuacahn and saw The Little Mermaid.  Super cool.  Super hot.  Who goes to St George in July?  Just us.  (Oh, and all of the other people at the play).
We hit the mall, went to a movie and just hung out.  We haven't had cable in years and it was funny how quickly we got sucked into TV at the hotel.  "Just one more episode..."  What a great reminder that I don't want cable ever again.
The kids had a great time with their grandparents and all of their puppies.
We have got to do this more often!
