Two week checkup

Lexi's 2 week check up was technically an 18 day check up - they couldn't fit us in until then.  I really really really hate being at the doctor's office with my healthy, 2 week old and listening to all the hacking coughs and crying kids!  Thank goodness for car seat covers!
At 2 weeks, Lexi was eating 2 ounces every 4 hours.  This tiny amount of food was evident in her tiny weight gain.  She was only back up to her birth weight.  Lindsay had the same problem gaining weight, so our doctor immediately was concerned.  He kept telling me I had to get her up to 3 ounces every 3 hours.  She was so not happy about eating more food more often, but we pushed and pushed until she got used to it.  (Today is her 2 week weight check, we'll see how it goes!)
Call me selfish, but I was enjoying the 4 hour stretches at night without needing to feed her.  Now it's every 3 hours, and it seems like I'm up all night!
Speaking of nights...Poor Macie learned really quick that it's not fun to share a room with a baby.  She is the lightest sleeper in our house, but doesn't have to get up for school, so we put her with Lexi.  She lasted about 3 nights before we took pity on her and I let her sleep in my spot in our bed and I slept in her bed.  Jeramy let that fly for a few nights, but Macie is also a wiggler and she needed to find a new place to sleep.  We got out our camping sleep mat and put it in with Maddie and Lindsay and that's where she slept for about a week.  We then realized that it wasn't going to change anytime soon and Jeramy just moved her bed in with the big girls.  That room is TIGHT!  Good thing we have those bunk beds!
Call me selfish again...I really miss sleeping in a bed.  Now I'm on the mat on the floor!  
The girls are all so good with her.  I know they would do more if I'd let them, but I'm struggling to let them help.  The minute Lexi even "grunts" in her sleep, they all run to stick her pacifier back in.  Maddie is pretty much a pro at making bottles, and Macie likes to hold the bottle while I hold Lexi.  Lindsay is just anxiously awaiting the day that Lexi will smile at her.  Until then, she's "not very fun."

 We always love when we have visitors.  Grandma and Grandpa brought us dinner, but really we know it was so they could hold Lexi!

 This is Lexi hanging out in the bathroom.  She loves the sound of the running water and the fan.  She was asleep in like 3 seconds.

 And is there anything better than having a tiny little baby sleeping on you?  I will be so sad when she's too big to do this.

And the jacket...I love the jacket.  Honestly, I thought to myself, "Putting you in silly outfits is kind of payback for all those long nights you give me."
