The squinty-eyed family...

Hey, who was the brilliant one that had us all look into the sun?? Oh wait, that was me.

On Wednesday we started the day off with a tour of the new Oquirrh Temple. It was so nice to be able to take my kids in the Temple and let them see how beautiful it was. The Celestial Room was almost too bright because we had the sun coming up in the windows. My favorite part was when my sister said, "Everyone, look at Heidi's toes!!" I have 'glitter toes' right now and when the sun hits them, it's pretty sparkly. Everyone 'ohhed and ahhed' at my toes. Fit right in in the Celestial room, eh?

After wonderful cookies (thanks, Ford family for making a million wonderful cookies for us to eat...my sister took 2, so sorry if the count is a little off now). We went back to Grandma's while Grandpa went to Taco Time and ordered 20 crisp bean burritos and 5 tacos. He said to the worker, "I'm a little hungry today, can I get 20 crisp bean burritos and 5 tacos." She then proceeded to ask my father as he stood there by himself, "Is that to stay or to go?" Wow.We then went to the Draper Temple and did baptisms for the dead. I had called twice to make an appointment, called to let them know again how many names we were bringing, called again to tell them we were down a few in numbers. Got there and they didn't have our appointment scheduled! They let us in anyway and we were pretty lucky it wasn't that busy. It was awesome to be there with my sisters, brother in law and nieces and nephews. We did 110 names!
